Abstract:The genus Schizostachyum from China is thoroughly studied and revised. Comparing with the related genera, the author suggests that Schizostachyum should include Dendrochloa Parkinson, Leptocanna Chia et H. L. Fung, Neohouzeaua A. Camus and Teinostachyum Munro, and the genera Pseudostachyum Munro and Cephalostachyum Munro, which were included in Schizostachyum by R. E. Holttum and W. D. Clayton & S. A.
