    Abstract:

In order to understand the chemical constituents of Lysimachia fortunei Maxim., five flavonoids were isolated from the ethyl acetate-soluble fraction of ethanol extract of whole herbs of L. fortunei. On the basis of spectral data, they were identified as: quercetin (1), isorhamnetin-3-O-(6-coumaroyl)-β-D-glucopyranoside (2), kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galactopyranoside (3), hyperin (4) and kaempferol-3-O-[6-(3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaroyl)]- β-D-glucopyranoside (5). Among them, compounds 2 and 5 were obtained from the genus Lysimachia for the first time.
