    Abstract:

    A confused taxon of Orchidaceae, Eria cristata Rolfe is discussed based on the examination of living plants and protologue. This species is characterized by white sepals and petals, yellow lip, with the disc and margins of the lateral lobes slightly darker; three lip crests, covered with yellow hairs, and it can be easily distinguished from its relatives.
