Abstract:Four species are reported as new records for Hainan Island, China. They are A ristolochia fangchi Y. C. Wu ex L. D. Chow et S. M. Hwang, Begonia cathayana Hemsl., Lysimachia capillipes Hemsl., Galeola lindleyana （Hook. f. et Thorns.） Rchb. f.. All the voucher specimens cited in this paper are preserved m Herbarium of South China Botanical Garden, the Chinese Academy of Sciences （IBSC）.
