    Abstract:

    During the past several decades, nitrogen deposition has brought a series of environmental and ecological problems.The subjects included in this literature review are:(1) elevated nitrogen deposition changes nitrogen metabolism in plants due to the increasing nitrogen concentration in plant tissues;(2) it influences photosynthesis including photosynthetic rate,photosynthetic pigments and Rubisco concentrations;(3) elevated nitrogen deposition increases plant respiration;and (4) increases the susceptibility of plant resistance to coldness,pests and diseases.
