    Abstract:

    A review is described of the accumulation of small molecule osmotic substance, such as proline, betain, polyol, polyamine, fructan, and macromolecule protein synthesis, such as late embryogenesis abundant protein, osmotin, water channel protein, K+ channel protein, ATPase and their related gene expression, which are closely correlated with salt tolerance in plants.
