Isolation, Identification and Biological Evaluation of Gigantifolinol from Ardisia gigantifolia

Abstract:

In order to understand the chemical constituents of Ardisia gigantifolia, the gigantifolinol were isolated and identified from EtOAc extract. In vitro activity screening, gigantifolinol showed potent anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities, and moderate neuroprotection activities. This is the first systematic study of gigantifolinol, which might provide a scientific basis to the development and utilization of A. gigantifolia.
