Abstract:

Liparis elegans Lindl. is reported as a new record from China. The detailed morphological descriptions and photos are also provided. The species is similar to L. condylobulbon Rchb. f. and L. parviflora (Blume) Lindley, but differs by having shorter ovoid pseudobulb, erect inflorescence, non-resupinate flowers, shorter ovary and pedice.
