    Abstract:

    Pine wood nematode (Bursaphelechus xylophilus) is the most serious forest pathogen in East Asia. This paper reviews the measures of the control of this nematode, recent researches on the biocontrol (includingnematicidal plants and nematicidal fungi), natural nematicidal toxins and their activity, and describes therelationship between chemical structures and nematicidal activity.
