    Abstract:

Yambean (Pachyrhizus erosus (L.) Urban) seeds were stored in drier in refrigerator at 4℃, in sealed drier containing saturated solution of potassium sulfocyanate at 15℃ and at 45% relative humidity, in room temperature, and in ambient temperature after the seeds were dried at 6.43% seed moisture (ultra-dry treatment). The experiments showed that the germination rate of yambean seeds declined to 50% in room temperature after 12 months of storage, and completely lost the germination capacity after 24 months.
