The molecular weight of BoSCL3 was 49.96 KD, predicted to be hydrophobic protein. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the SCL3 in B. olreacea var. italica (BoSCL3) was closely related to those in B. rapa and B. napus, and SCL3 in the same family had high homology. The real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR analysis showed that the expression of BoSCL3 decreased at first and then increased with waterlogging stress time, indicating that this gene might be involved in response to waterlogging stress.
